CarGurus is looking for a customer-focused and results-driven Sales Development Representative, Inbound to support the growth of our advertising dealer base. In this role, you will manage and qualify inbound leads generated through marketing channels, working closely with Account Executives to convert interest into high-quality sales opportunities.
The successful candidate will be highly organised, responsive, and consultative in their approach, with strong communication skills and the ability to consistently meet performance targets in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do:
  • Manage and respond to inbound leads from calls, emails, website enquiries, and marketing campaigns
  • Qualify inbound prospects by understanding their needs, pain points, and business goals
  • Articulate the CarGurus value proposition to dealers and address initial questions or objections
  • Route qualified opportunities to Account Executives and ensure a smooth handover
  • Demonstrate excellent prioritisation and time management when handling high lead volumes
  • Consistently meet or exceed assigned quotas and key performance metrics
  • Log all activity accurately and completely in Salesforce
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing and Sales to optimise lead quality and conversion

Who You Are:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a sales, customer-facing, or lead qualification role
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
  • Customer-focused, proactive, and solutions-oriented
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) is a plus

The displayed range represents the expected annual base salary / On-Target Earnings (OTE) for this position. On-Target Earnings (OTE) is inclusive of base salary and on-target commission earnings, which applies exclusively to sales roles.
Individual pay within this range is determined by work location and other factors such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
This annual base salary forms part of a comprehensive Total Rewards Package. In addition to benefits, this role may qualify for discretionary bonuses/incentives and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
