As a Sales Development Representative(also referred to as an Associate Veterinary Imaging Consultant) for the Diagnostic Imaging and Telemedicine Center of Excellence, you will be responsible for lead generation for IDEXX Web PACS, Telemedicine, CardioPet and Diagnostic Imaging within an assigned geographic territory, handling opportunity identification and prequalification of Sales Qualified Leads (SQL’s) and Marketing Qualified Leads (MQL’s) for the Veterinary Imaging Consultant (VIC) and preparing diagnostic imaging customers with end of life systems for their system upgrades by collaborating with the Diagnostic Imaging Specialist. The primary success metric for this position is based on number demonstrations booked and converted for the Veterinary Imaging Consultant and Diagnostic Imaging Specialist.
In the role of Sales Development Representative:
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include activities outlined below, and any additional tasks that may be assigned to support the business needs:
Maintaining a robust pipeline of sales opportunities in a high-volume outbound calling and email environment.
Lead IDEXX WebPACS, CardioPet and Telemedicine product sales pursuits within assigned territory, handling opportunity identification and customer nurture journey.
Responsible for booking product demonstrations for the Veterinary Imaging Consultant and Diagnostic Imaging Specialist using a collaborative approach.
Develops, implements, and maintains lead generation network with the IDEXX field sales ecosystem for the assigned territory.
Consistently achieves quarterly & annual quotas.
Is accountable for collaboration with Companion Animal Group(CAG) Commercial team to ensure customer’s overall satisfaction with IDEXX.
Gathers feedback from customers to contribute to product development, sales and marketing strategy, and activities.
Positively promotes and represents the IDEXX brand.
What you need to succeed:
3+ years of prospecting, lead generation or inside sales experience. Animal health/veterinary or human healthcare industry preferred.
Prior phone sales experience and ability to be on the phone 8 hours a day.
Ability to strengthen relationships with Veterinary Imaging Consultant, Veterinary Imaging Account Manager, Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, Companion Animal Group(CAG) Commercial team, Vetsoft Sales team.
Executes core activities with some assistance / guidance from manager.
Entry-level knowledge across Diagnostic Imaging and Telemedicine.
Independently handles lower complexity deals and works with manager on more complex opportunities.
