Job Summary
The Sales Development Rep / Lead Rep (SDR) is responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and generating sales leads for Henry Schein One business solutions and services to support the Account Executive reps. The SDR will also promote awareness of and solicit attendance/registrations for the biennial Business of Dentistry (BDC) conference.
What you will do
- Generate sales qualified leads from marketing inquiries for the Henry Schein One sales team (roughly 75% of job).
- Cover inbound sales inquiries to HS One (roughly 25% of job).
- Answer calls from existing and perspective Henry Schein One clients not using our business solutions and services.
- Update and maintain leads and opportunities in the salesforce, including sales stage and next assigned task date, until turned over to a sales specialist/account executive.
- Participates in special projects, such as event or lead registrations from partners, and performs other duties as required.
- In addition to the essential duties and responsibilities listed above, all positions are also responsible for:
- Meeting company standards pertaining to quantity and quality of work performed on an ongoing basis, performing all work-related tasks in a manner that is in compliance with all Company policies and procedures including Worldwide Business Standards.
- Adhering to Company policies, procedures, and directives regarding standards of workplace behavior in completing job duties and assignments.
Travel/Physical Demands
- This position will be working in an office environment, utilizing typical office equipment.
Qualifications
Must have:
- Typically one year proven experience selling to new clients, or in other professional technology software sales role or Dental market expertise equivalent
- High School Diploma or GED
- Phone experience and/or ability to work with Dental Customers/Prospects
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written
- Self-starter and team player
- Driven to meet and surpass goals/targets
- Can handle high volumes of inbound calls
- Ability to multi-task
- Detail oriented
- Ability to prioritize daily tasks Excellent customer service skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Product Suite
Nice to have:
- Bachelors degree
- Past Customer Service experience
- Knowledge or interest in the Dental industry and HS One software portfolio
- Knowledge of CRM solutions (i.e.,Salesforce, Siebel, etc.)
- Knowledge of Software and Technology
- Past sales experience
The posted range for this position is $60,000.00 to $65,000.00 OTE (On Target Earnings). On target earnings includes the annual base pay as well as the on target commission, which together represent the expected OTE compensation range for this role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, current skills, location/labor market, internal equity, etc.
