So, what's the role all about?
We’re looking for a German‑speaking Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our high‑performing EMEA Sales Development team, supporting growth across the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland).
In 2026, our SDR organisation is focused strongly on driving pipeline for NICE’s AI‑first solutions, with a primary emphasis on Cognigy— a recognised leader in Conversational and Generative AI across Europe. You’ll be the first point of contact for potential customers, introducing NICE’s AI‑powered technologies, uncovering their needs, and booking qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives (AEs).
Working across a mix of inbound and outbound activity, you’ll research accounts, identify key stakeholders, and craft thoughtful outreach that opens doors and creates genuine sales opportunities.
You’ll build expertise in the DACH market, develop personalised engagement strategies, and shape early‑stage conversations that convert into real pipeline.
From day one, you’ll be supported by experienced mentors, structured training, and a team committed to your long-term success.
How will you make an impact?
- Drive high‑quality pipeline for NICE’s AI‑first product suite, particularly Cognigy’s conversational and generative AI capabilities.
- Identify, contact, and engage key decision‑makers through multi‑touch outreach (email, phone, social, video).
- Execute a balance of strategic outbound prospecting and inbound lead follow‑up to maximise pipeline generation.
- Understand customer pain points and articulate how NICE + Cognigy deliver measurable value.
- Build high‑quality discovery opportunities for AEs and ensure smooth, informed handoffs.
- Document all activities, insights, and interactions accurately and consistently in Salesforce.
- Meet or exceed monthly goals for discovery calls, qualified opportunities, and outbound productivity.
- Collaborate with AEs, Marketing, and regional stakeholders to refine targeting and improve conversion.
- Continuously develop knowledge of AI, automation, CX technology, and competitive positioning in the DACH market.
- Use AI‑enhanced prospecting tools to increase efficiency, relevance, and impact.
Have you got what it takes?
- Fluent German and strong English communication skills.
- Confident communicator, especially when engaging senior stakeholders.
- Strong curiosity and the ability to uncover real needs through discovery.
- Proactive, self‑motivated, and organised, with great time‑management skills.
- Comfortable using CRM tools; Salesforce experience is a plus.
- Driven by results, eager to grow, and excited about working in an AI‑driven sales environment.
You’ll have an advantage if you also have:
- Experience with Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar prospecting tools.
- Interest in or exposure to Conversational AI, automation, or CX technology.
- Prior SDR, BDR, inside sales, or prospecting experience in SaaS or technology.
What’s in it for you?
This is a chance to build a career at the heart of Europe’s AI revolution. You’ll gain:
- Hands‑on experience selling one of Europe’s most recognised AI platforms (Cognigy)
- Deep understanding of conversational and generative AI use cases
- A highly transferable and in‑demand skillset
- Ongoing coaching, sales development training, and access to global best practices
