Sales Development Representative - Data Security Solutions

Location: Remote, Spain or United Kingdom

Are you a commercially driven sales professional who enjoys opening doors, building relationships, and creating new opportunities?

We’re looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help grow our Data Security Solutions business, with a particular focus on the Spanish market.

You’ll be responsible for identifying, engaging, and qualifying potential customers for our portfolio of data security solutions, including PKI, Hardware Security Modules (HSMs), and Key Management solutions. As one of the first points of contact for prospective customers, you’ll play an important role in building relationships, understanding customer challenges, and creating high-quality opportunities for our Sales team.

Working closely with Account Executives and Marketing, you’ll combine outbound prospecting, inbound lead follow-up, and targeted account development to help grow our sales pipeline.

How you will make an impact

  • Develop and execute targeted outbound prospecting campaigns to generate qualified sales opportunities.
  • Prospect into new and existing accounts through cold calling, email, LinkedIn, referrals, inbound leads, and account-based outreach.
  • Engage key decision-makers and understand their business priorities, security challenges, timelines, and potential budgets.
  • Clearly communicate the value of our PKI, HSM, Key Management, and broader data security solutions to prospective customers.
  • Qualify opportunities and facilitate meaningful introductions between prospects and Account Executives.
  • Manage and progress Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) into Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs).
  • Work closely with Account Executives on territory planning, target accounts, prospecting strategies, and qualification standards.
  • Partner with Marketing to improve messaging, campaign effectiveness, and lead-nurturing strategies.
  • Use Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and sales engagement tools to manage prospecting activity and maintain an accurate view of the pipeline.
  • Identify market trends and share customer and prospect feedback with the wider Sales and Marketing teams.
  • Maintain consistent follow-up activity and effectively manage multiple prospects at different stages of the sales cycle.

What we’re looking for

Basic Qualifications

  • Previous Inside Sales, Sales Development, Business Development, or B2B sales experience, with experience generating and qualifying new business opportunities.
  • A track record of prospecting, building pipeline, and working towards or exceeding sales objectives.
  • Confidence engaging senior stakeholders and decision-makers through phone, email, virtual meetings, and social selling.
  • Strong discovery and qualification skills, with the ability to understand customer needs and identify genuine sales opportunities.
  • Excellent organisation and time-management skills, with a disciplined approach to prospecting and follow-up.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to quickly learn and confidently discuss technology products and services.
  • A proactive and resilient mindset, with the motivation to succeed in a target-driven sales environment.
  • Fluency in Spanish is required.
  • Candidates must have the legal right to work in the country in which they are based.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in cybersecurity, data security, SaaS, identity security, PKI, cryptography, HSMs, or Key Management.
  • Experience using Salesforce CRM, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and sales engagement/prospecting platforms.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

Why this role?

This is an opportunity to build your career in a fast-moving area of cybersecurity while working with solutions that address increasingly important challenges around data protection, encryption, cryptographic keys, and digital trust.

You’ll have the opportunity to develop your technical and commercial knowledge, work closely with experienced Sales and Marketing teams, and make a direct impact on pipeline growth across the region.

If you’re curious, commercially minded, resilient, and enjoy turning conversations into opportunities, we’d love to hear from you.
