As a Supervisor for the Sales Development program, you will be responsible for overseeing and mentoring a team of Sales Associates in the Sales Development Program. Through daily interactions, coaching and training you will drive to meet or exceed sales promotion & performance objectives for your assigned Sales Associate team.
What you'll do:
Communicate job expectations and foster a collaborative climate
Responsible for employee communication and satisfaction
Responsible for helping to resolve issues where staff needs assistance; Escalate issues to Sales Development Program Manager, as necessary
Partner with Human Resources to ensure compliance with processes and policies and provide guidance and coaching where needed
Provide daily sales coaching and development to a team of Sales Associates
Guide Sales Associates through development plan to ensure successful promotion to an Outside Sales position
Track Sales Associates development progress and provide feedback to Sales Development Program Manager and/or Program Director regarding promotability of Sales Associates
Ensure employees complete required compliance training
Assist with implementing, sustaining, researching and developing quality process improvements utilizing SalesForce.com and other industry tools to train, develop and promote best in class sales representative
Requirements:
High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
Minimum 2 years of supervision and leadership experience
Sales or business management experience preferred
Basic knowledge of the construction rental equipment or related industry preferred
Effective leadership, motivation, and organization skills
Sales Management Skills
Computer skills (MS Suite, SalesForce.com)
Excellent communication skills – written, verbal, facilitating, relaying information and presentation skills
Strong interpersonal skills with emphasis on coaching
Ability to set goals and establish performance standards for a team
Ability to multi-task, plan and organize time
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
