Company Description

Mum 2 Mum is a proudly New Zealand-owned company that designs and supplies quality products trusted by families, early childhood centres, healthcare providers, and retailers throughout New Zealand and around the world.
We're looking for an enthusiastic and relationship-focused Sales & Customer Specialist to join our team.

This role is centred on supporting and growing our existing customer base, which makes up the majority of our business, while identifying opportunities to introduce our products to our customers across New Zealand and Australia.

If you enjoy building long-term relationships, providing outstanding customer service, and being part of a close-knit team where your contribution is valued, we'd love to hear from you.

Job Description

Based at our Te Rapa office and warehouse, you'll be the main point of contact for many of our valued customers, ensuring they receive excellent service while helping grow sales across our established accounts.

While there is an opportunity to develop new business, this role is primarily focused on nurturing existing customer relationships and identifying opportunities to expand within our current customer base.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and growing relationships with existing customers
  • Providing exceptional customer service by phone and email
  • Following up enquiries and identifying sales opportunities
  • Maintaining accurate customer information within our CRM system
  • Coordinating sales promotions and marketing initiatives
  • Monitoring customer activity and identifying opportunities for growth
  • Preparing sales reports and sharing customer feedback with the business owner
  • Attending trade shows, customer visits, and industry events when required
  • Working closely with our warehouse and administration teams to ensure a great customer experience

Qualifications

You'll enjoy working with people and take pride in building strong, lasting customer relationships.

Ideally you'll have:

  • Experience in account management, customer service, internal sales, or sales support
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • A proactive approach and the ability to work independently
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Confidence using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
  • A positive, team-focused attitude and willingness to help where needed

Experience within the early childhood sector would be an advantage, but it's certainly not essential. We're looking for someone with the right attitude, great people skills, and a willingness to learn.
