QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree in Business, Communications, Sales, Marketing or other related field preferred.
Minimum of two years of corporate business experience required. Prior experience in the sports industry with exposure to event management or event sales preferred. Exposure to Ticketmaster Archtics computer system is also preferred.
Must possess strong Microsoft Office skills to include mail merges and intermediate level Excel and PowerPoint skills.
This position will be responsible for a heavy volume of sales calls.
Flexible schedule to include evenings and weekends as needed.
Able to safely operate a utility vehicle such as, but not limited to, golf carts, utility carts, and shuttle carts.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
Assist with ticket sales of various ticket packages through new business leads as well as servicing existing or repeat customers. Expand the network of retail locations offering ticket brochures. Forward all approved Sales Agreements to renewal clients within the established deadlines. Sell ticket and hospitality packages to prospective clients. Follow up on sales leads as directed by supervisor.
Enter all sales contracts and Electronic Ticket Templates (ETTs) into the Ticketmaster Archtics system and forward approved copies to renewal clients within the established deadlines.
Support Senior Director of Sales, including drafting sales presentations and proposals.
Generate the internal sales reports and validate the data to ensure that all sales are captured accurately.
Interact with clients to answer questions and assist with incremental sales.
Assist the Event Services Manager with the post sale process to include: invoicing, client relations, merchandising/inventory control, etc.
Assist the Marketing Services department with the development and execution of the event marketing plan. Act as the primary point of contact on-site to execute components of the marketing and promotions programs. Assist with the development of sales collateral for the event.
During event week, interact with clients to ensure all of their needs are met, prospect new clients, assist Director to secure repeat purchases, and conduct fan surveys as requested
Provide support to the Director - Sales and Marketing and Director - Community Relations and Charity Outreach as needed.
Special Projects and other duties as assigned.
