Job Description:
This position is responsible for ensuring that customers receive complete, accurate and timely technical proposals and order acknowledgements, and functions as the liaison between the Sales Executives, internal departments, and customers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Maintain price worksheets used by Sales Executives for quoting standard machines with standard options.
- Work with Sales Executives to coordinate technical reviews with customers, engineering, and Operations to review the RFQ to determine scope and project risks.
- Maintain proposal formats for use by Sales Executives, including structure, format, and accuracy of content.
- Follow-up with Sales Executives on open quotes to confirm they are active and valid.
- Maintain standard machine specifications that align with engineering’s job structure.
- Enter orders and billing plans in the ERP system and maintain specifications for all sold jobs.
- Maintain the structure and content of electronic document management system.
- Coordinate and participate in customer visits.
- Organize internal and external (when required) customer machine demos.
- Participate in sales kick-off and risk burn down meetings.
- Manage projects at lower revenue levels and/or with low risks, following lean processes.
- Act as the single point of contact between engineering, Operations, and Sales Executives, or directly with the customer to ensure project success.
- Maintain integrity of data in the customer relationship management (CRM/CPQ) database.
- Facilitate resolution of customer related financial issues, billing discrepancies, past due invoices and credit holds.
- Back-up other administrative functions.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- An associate degree in a technical or business-related discipline is preferred. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Two – four years of relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

- Demonstrated communication, organization, and time management skills
- Proven problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational, planning, and scheduling abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Experience with CRM software
- Ability to travel as required

- Typically sits, grasps items and performs keyboarding for frequent operation of a computer
- Stand, walk, bend, reach or otherwise move about occasionally
- Lift, move or otherwise transfer items up to 30 lbs. occasionally
- Occasional exposure to typical machine shop physical hazards
- Travel by air or car occasionally
