Job Overview:  The Sales Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the efficient execution of the sales process by providing administrative, operational, and customer support to the Sales organization. This role serves as the central point of coordination between Sales, Pre-Sales Engineering, Operations, Purchasing, Finance, Service, and customers to ensure opportunities progress efficiently from qualification through project handoff.

The Sales Coordinator owns many of the administrative and workflow functions that keep opportunities moving while ensuring data accuracy, process compliance, and exceptional customer service. This individual is responsible for maintaining CRM integrity, coordinating quote reviews and approvals, validating proposal documentation, processing customer purchase orders, supporting contract execution, and assisting with project transitions.

This position requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Sales Team throughout the entire sales lifecycle.
  • Coordinate activities between Sales, Pre-Sales, Operations, Purchasing, Finance, Service, and Project Management.
  • Maintain accurate sales records within the CRM.
  • Ensure opportunities progress through the required sales stages.
  • Monitor pipeline activity and identify stalled opportunities.
  • Assist Sales Representatives with administrative tasks allowing them to maximize customer-facing time.
  • Track critical milestones throughout the sales cycle.
  • Assist with opportunity forecasting updates.
  • Coordinate internal sales meetings as required.
  • Maintain departmental documentation and process standards.
  • Maintain complete accuracy of all customer records.
  • Audit CRM opportunities for required information.
  • Monitor data quality.
  • Maintain customer master records.
  • Ensure opportunity ownership is accurate.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in business administration or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in a sales support role or similar position.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

  • 8-hour shift
  • 7:30 am – 4:30 pm (1 hour lunch)
  • Day shift

Work Location: In person
