The Sales Coordinator for the Industrial Minerals Division is responsible for the coordination of all activities associated with orders. This includes, but is not limited to, managing or overseeing order input, working directly with customers and suppliers, order management and expediting

Job Description

Key Accountabilities:

  • Support Traders within the areas of customer service, and supplier relations
  • Proactively manage order requirements from order entry through to completion. Including, creating customer and supplier contracts, and managing associated correspondence
  • Order entry for Ferrous Metals and Raw Minerals (an understanding of commodity hedging is a plus)
  • Systems work including Invoicing /Crediting customers, processing supplier/vendor invoices, and broker confirmations
  • Maintain Backlog and ensure accurate information is conveyed to management
  • Assist with coordination of logistical and supply chain needs as related to orders (Inland and Sea)
  • Handle import/export related documents and procedures
  • Work in a team environment, communicating as required with all personnel.
  • Attend meetings with team members, camera ready, as needed.
  • Take on additional duties and responsibilities, as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or comparable experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in Raw Metals & Minerals Trading / Importing
  • Solid computer skills
  • Excellent time management and organization skills
  • Basic understanding of market dynamics and the effect it has on our business
  • Experience in logistics, customs, and supply chain
  • Capability to work under pressure

Job Compensation

$61,647.32 - $92,470.97

Skills Required

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2 - 4 years of experience in Sales / Customer Service
  • Computer literate
  • Strong skills in written and verbal communication
  • Solid understanding of order process and file management
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field
  • Metals or aerospace experience
