Position Summary

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Sales Coordinator to support our sales and operations teams by managing customer orders, coordinating product delivery, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience from quote to fulfillment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working cross-functionally, and takes pride in delivering accurate, timely service to customers.

This position is a fully onsite role based out of our Toledo, Ohio location.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently from receipt through fulfillment.

  • Review order details, verify product availability, pricing, and lead times.

  • Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and logistics partners to support on-time delivery of products and solutions.

  • Prepare and maintain order-related documentation and records.

  • Monitor order status and proactively communicate updates to customers and internal stakeholders.

  • Resolve order discrepancies, shipment issues, and customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

  • Support sales team members with order tracking, customer follow-up, and administrative activities.

  • Maintain accurate customer and order information within ERP, CRM, and other business systems.

  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, quality standards, and customer requirements.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts that enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Essential job duties and responsibilities

  • Required High school diploma or equivalent. Associate degree or additional training in business, supply chain, operations, or a related field preferred.

  • 1 + years previous experience in order processing, sales support, customer service, inside sales, logistics, or a related administrative role.

  • Preferred Experience supporting industrial automation, controls, manufacturing, electrical distribution, engineering, or related technical industries.

  • Knowledge of supply chain, inventory coordination, material handling, or logistics processes is a plus.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a high level of accuracy.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook and Excel.

  • Experience working with ERP, CRM, or order management systems.  Prior experience with EPICOR is a plus.

  • Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with remote and onsite team members.
