The Sales Consultant is the driving force behind a dealership's sales success. You'll build relationships with customers, understand their needs, and present vehicles that perfectly match their lifestyle and budget. Your charisma, product knowledge, and negotiation skills will be key to closing deals and exceeding sales targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and qualify customers, building rapport and identifying their needs, budget, and preferences
  • Present and demonstrate vehicles, highlighting features and benefits that match each customer's needs
  • Conduct test drives and answer questions about specifications, performance, and technology
  • Negotiate sale price, financing options, and trade-in value to secure purchase agreements
  • Follow up post-sale to ensure customer satisfaction and build long-term relationships
  • Maintain deep knowledge of dealership inventory, pricing, and competitive advantages
  • Stay current on market trends, competitor offerings, and new Mercedes-Benz vehicle launches
  • Use the dealership CRM to track customer interactions and sales progress
  • Develop and execute personal sales strategies to meet individual and dealership targets
  • Participate in marketing events and community showcases as needed
  • Assist with vehicle lot presentation, including cleanliness and proper signage
  • Maintain a professional appearance and represent the Mercedes-Benz of Maui brand with pride
  • Follow all dealership policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrates a high “HQ” (Hospitality Quotient) consisting of kindness & optimism, intellectual curiosity, work ethic, empathy, self-awareness, and integrity.
  • 1+ years of sales/hospitality experience, automotive sales or comparable sales experience a plus.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • A passion for the automotive industry and a genuine desire to help customers.
  • Excellent product knowledge and the ability to learn about new vehicle features quickly.
  • Self-motivated, with a drive to succeed and achieve sales targets.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude.

Skills Required
