We're looking for a Sales Consultant who enjoys building relationships, delivering compelling software demonstrations, solving business challenges, and helping customers improve the way they sell.

What You'll Do
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial conversation through close
- Conduct discovery calls to understand customer workflows and business challenges
- Deliver engaging product demonstrations to prospective customers
- Follow up on inbound leads generated through marketing, partnerships, events, and referrals
- Re-engage previous opportunities and nurture long-term prospects
- Create quotes and guide customers through the buying process
- Maintain accurate opportunity information within our CRM (Hubspot)
- Collaborate with onboarding, customer success, support, and product teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
- Represent QuoteWerks at industry events, conferences, and trade shows
- Provide customer feedback that helps shape future product and marketing initiatives

- Can work independently while remaining accountable to goals and expectation
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of B2B sales experience
- Experience selling SaaS, software, technology, CRM, CPQ, PSA, ERP, or similar business solutions preferred
- Strong presentation and demonstration skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience managing a pipeline and consistently achieving sales goals
- Comfortable learning new technologies and business processes
- Experience using CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar systems
- Ability to travel periodically for conferences, customer meetings, and industry events
What You Can Expect
Compensation & Growth
- Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission
- On-target earnings (OTE): $90,000–$110,000+ depending on experience and performance
- Opportunity to increase earnings through new customer acquisition.
Lead Flow & Opportunity
Unlike many software sales roles that rely heavily on cold prospecting, this position includes a healthy mix of:
- Inbound leads generated through marketing initiatives
- Product trial users
- Website inquiries
- Partner referrals
- Existing customer expansion opportunities
- Industry event and trade show leads
While proactive outreach remains important, success is driven by a consultative approach rather than high-volume cold calling.
Typical Sales Motion
- Average deal sizes range from $1,500 to $4,500
- Sales cycles typically involve product demonstrations, discovery conversations, and business process discussions in an average 38 day timeframe
- Customers span a variety of industries including technology, manufacturing, distribution, professional services, and managed IT services
Industry Events & Travel
Sales Consultants represent QuoteWerks at industry events, conferences, and trade shows throughout the year.
Typical travel includes:
- Approximately 2–4 industry events annually
- Customer meetings and partner events as needed
- Opportunities to network with business leaders, software partners, and technology providers across North America
