POSITION SUMMARY:
This role is primarily responsible to make outbound telephone calls to prospective clients who have inquired to receive some information about our solutions. The incumbent will also handle inbound calls with the same purpose. The objective will be to qualify clients and book telephone meetings for HomeEquity Banks’s Inside Sales Team.
 

The Sales Consultant will be required to answer client questions as well as present HomeEquity Bank’s product solutions to help meet their needs. This is a fast-paced environment ideal for individuals who work well with targets and are seeking a challenge.

 
MAJOR ELEMENTS OF THE ROLE:

  • Making outbound calls to prospective clients who have already reached out for some information

  • Handling inbound calls for prospective clients who are reaching out for information

  • Deliver prepared sales talk that describes our products in order to persuade potential customers to book a meeting with our Inside Sales Team

  • Explain HomeEquity Bank products, overcome objections and answer client questions

  • Obtain customer information such as name, address, and secured debt and enter the information online

  • Adjust sales scripts to better target the needs and interests of specific individuals

  • Telephone or correspond to inquiries from customers Schedule appointments with the Inside Sales Team for customers.  

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Post-Secondary education or equivalent experience.

  • Progressive customer service or Tele-sales experience

  • Ability to type 40 words per minute

  • Flexibility to work between 8am - 8pm (EST) Monday to Friday

  • Ability to work on weekends shifts is mandatory – full or part-time hours

  • Proficient with Word, Outlook, Excel

  • Experience and comfortable gathering sensitive information from clients regarding their financial situation

  • Tech savvy- experience with Salesforce is an asset

  • Detail oriented

  • Comfortable working with targets and achieving them

  • French languages capability is an asset
