Position Summary

Jeff Wyler Springfield Auto Mall is seeking motivated, customer-focused Automotive Sales Consultants to join our award-winning team. As an Automotive Sales Consultant, you will help customers find the right vehicle to fit their lifestyle and budget while delivering an exceptional dealership experience from the initial greeting through vehicle delivery and follow-up.

We are looking for energetic professionals with excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for helping people. Whether you have automotive sales experience or are looking to begin a rewarding career, we provide the training and support needed for success.

Responsibilities
  • Welcome customers and provide a professional, friendly, and pressure-free buying experience.
  • Build relationships with customers to understand their transportation needs and recommend appropriate vehicles.
  • Demonstrate vehicle features, technology, and benefits through walkarounds and test drives.
  • Present financing, leasing, and vehicle protection options in collaboration with the finance department.
  • Maintain product knowledge on all new and pre-owned inventory.
  • Follow up with prospective customers through phone calls, emails, text messages, and CRM tools.
  • Generate new business through referrals, networking, and community involvement.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and sales documentation.
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Assist with showroom presentation and vehicle merchandising.
  • Participate in ongoing product knowledge and sales training.

  • Previous sales or customer service experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with a competitive drive and positive attitude.
  • Ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn dealership software.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
