Sales Consultant - Locksmith – Alpharetta, GA; Tennessee, or Alabama

Sales Consultant - Locksmith

The Sales Consultant - Locksmith is responsible for driving territory revenue in the Non-Specified Replacement and Small Renovation markets.  Specific responsibilities include developing relationships, program support and execution with targeted accounts.  The position will ensure focus, local execution, and serve as a catalyst on the new programs and products launched by the Channel Led Business Team.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead local execution of Channel Led programs to targeted Locksmith accounts supported through Wholesale distribution.

  • Provide focus and local sales execution on Channel Led programs and products to targeted accounts.

  • Develop strong working relationships and provide support with targeted indirect and some direct Locksmith accounts to achieve revenue and growth goals.

  • Develop joint business plans at targeted accounts.

  • Establish a regular call pattern with indirect and direct accounts.

  • Provide regular feedback to Channel Led team on indirect and direct channel partner needs for growth.

  • Understand business and market dynamics that drive channel led segment for assigned territory and be aware of competition influence and performance.

What You Need to Succeed:

  • High School Diploma required, Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • 5+ years sales experience, industry experience preferred

  • Industry sales or marketing experience associated with locksmiths and/or contractors is desired

  • Ability to think strategically and problem solve with entrepreneurial commitment to achieving goals

  • Ability to work with and influence a variety of indirect and direct accounts

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Demonstrated experience influencing others with a bias for action

  • Self-motivated with entrepreneurial mindset

  • Strong presentation skills required

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to execute on business plans

  • Ability to partner with customers and internal cross functional teams

  • Customer-centric with the ability to balance both customer benefits and business financials effectively

  • Ability to travel up to 25%

  • The position will require at least 50% travel

  • Candidate must live within Atlanta, GA, Tennessee, or Alabama to call on customers within the territory.
