Brampton Mitsubishi is currently seeking self-starting, highly motivated individuals, with proven track records in customer service or sales to join their dynamic team of Sales Consultants in Brampton. Reporting to the Sales Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to customers visiting our location.

Here’s what you’ll deliver:

  • Utilize systems and procedures, deliver exceptional customer service on all interactions, give all customers consideration and respect, understand their needs, and consistently meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Learn and maintain solid product knowledge on manufacturer-specific vehicles and manufacturer-specific rebate, finance and incentive programs.
  • Project a positive attitude for the benefit of our customers and fellow employees.
  • Ensure that all work performed is thorough, accurate, and completed in a timely fashion.
  • Work effectively without supervision.
  • Attend factory-sponsored and dealer-specified training classes as scheduled by management.
  • Answer Customer Service phone calls relating to car sale inquiries.
  • Ensure customer car quotes are competitive and reasonable.
  • Keep customers updated by phone as to the progress of their vehicle’s delivery.
  • Inform customers when vehicles are ready to be picked up.
  • Keep abreast of new equipment, features and tools available and recommend purchases.
  • Account for all documents; ensure that none are missing.
  • Follow up with the factory and distributors regarding late vehicle deliveries. 
  • Comply with strict regulations and requirements of the Ontario Motor Vehicle Industry Council (OMVIC).
  • Ability to work in adherence to company safety standards at all times.
  • Comply with all company policies, standards and procedures. 
  • Other duties as required by management.

What you need to succeed:

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • 1- 3 years of  Automotive Sales Experience is an asset
  • OMVIC Certification is required.
  • Dealer CRM system experience is an asset
  • Must have a valid Ontario Driver's License and good driving record
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Ability and willingness to be flexible under changing conditions.
  • Ability to be creative and persuasive in negotiating.
  • Ability to exhibit professionalism with a positive attitude under pressure.
  • Well-spoken, friendly and articulate. 
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
  • Must be willing to be flexible with work schedules. 
  • May be required to work on Saturday as per business needs.

Job Type: Full Time - Permanent

Compensation (expected annual earnings): $45,000 - $95,000 per year. This is a 100% commission role with no base salary. The range reflects historical earnings at this dealership; actual earnings vary based on individual performance and business volumes.

Minimum earnings: In accordance with the Employment Standards Act, commission-paid employees will be paid at least the applicable Ontario minimum wage for all hours worked. Any minimum-wage top-up paid may be reconciled quarterly in accordance with the compensation plan.
