The Sales Compensation Senior Analyst is a key member of the Incentive Compensation team, responsible for managing and administering the company’s sales incentive programs. This role turns plan design into award execution, ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of all incentive plan processes, including award calculations, participant communications, and payments. This role is the primary owner and user of Xactly Incent, leveraging the platform to automate, optimize, and report on compensation activities. This is an excellent opportunity for an analytical professional with a deep understanding of sales compensation operations, system expertise, and a passion for delivering impactful and equitable incentive experiences.

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

  • Responsibility for the end-to-end administration of sales incentive plans for all applicable sales teams, ensuring compliance with company policies and plan documentation

  • Execution of quarterly, semi-annual or annual sales incentive awards accurately and on schedule using Xactly Incent or Excel, addressing complex scenarios

  • Development and maintenance of the workflows, rules, and reporting within Xactly Incent to support plan requirements and business changes

  • Subject-matter expertise with Xactly Incent, managing system upgrades, user access, and issue resolution in partnership with IT and the vendor as needed

  • Responsibility for preparing and distributing regular, clear, and timely communications to plan participants and other stakeholders

  • Coordination with Payroll to ensure incentive payments are processed accurately and in a timely fashion, reconciling data as needed

  • Coordination with Finance to ensure proper award forecasting and accruals

  • Analytics related to incentive plan performance and participant earnings, providing insights and recommendations to leadership

  • Plan modeling, scenario analysis, and the annual plan design cycle with data and system expertise

  • Inquiries from sales leadership and participants requiring professionalism and customer-service skills, resolving exceptions and disputes efficiently

  • Maintenance of comprehensive process documentation with opportunities to recommend process enhancements for operational excellence

  • Ongoing compliance with legal and statutory requirements, globally

YOU HAVE:

  • Academic Background in o Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, HR, or related field; advanced degree or relevant certification preferred

  • 7+ years of experience administering sales incentive or compensation plans, with significant hands-on experience using Xactly Incent or similar platforms

  • Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills; high attention to detail and accuracy

  • Proven track record in managing complex calculations and large data sets using compensation systems o Experience in a sales or marketing environment a plus

  • Strong desire and motivation to develop and continue upward movement in your career in HR

  • Skills / abilities: o Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of tools especially Excel, PowerPoint as well as Microsoft Teams o Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex plan mechanics to diverse audiences

  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, HR, Payroll, and IT o Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with reporting, dashboards, and data visualization tools

  • A proactive, collaborative, and customer-focused mindset

  • Highly-accountable self-starter, comfortable working fairly independently as well as displaying strong team collaboration o Highest levels of integrity with the ability to manage and maintain confidential and sensitive information
