Job Summary:
The role focuses on technical data management and system integration for sales compensation processes. It is responsible for ensuring accurate transaction data handling, supporting system uploads and validations, and enabling data flow between SAP Incentive systems and downstream reporting platforms.
Responsibilities and Duties
1. Compensation Data Operations & Validation
Manage and validate compensation transaction data in SAP Incentive systems, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and auditability
Perform data adjustments, corrections, and reconciliations based on defined business rules and compensation policies.
Upload and validate compensation data, supporting calculation and recalculation processes
Review system outputs to confirm results align with expected logic and business requirements
Perform cross-period and cross-source reconciliation to ensure data consistency
2. Data Integration & Technical Support
Design, build and maintain scalable ETL pipelines to support data integration across multiple systems (HR, Finance, Sales, Compensation platforms)
Extract, transform and load data from various sources, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness
Develop and optimize data workflows for large datasets (e.g., headcount, commission, quota, payroll data)
Ensure data quality through validation rules, reconciliation, and anomaly detection
Collaborate with business stakeholders (Comp, HR, Finance) to translate business logic into data models
Support reporting and analytics by providing clean, structured datasets (e.g., Power BI, dashboards)
Maintain documentation for data processes to ensure auditability and compliance (e.g., SOX controls)
Troubleshoot data issues and improve pipeline performance.
Required Qualifications:
Education
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Engineering, or related field
Technical & Analytical Skills
Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities.
Experience with ETL tools (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Informatica, SSIS) or scripting (Python, SQL)
Strong SQL skills and data modeling experience
Familiarity with data warehousing concepts
Experience with data quality, validation, and reconciliation processes
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Open to working in an AI‑driven environment and leveraging AI tools to improve efficiency and quality of work.
Soft Skills
Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and accountability.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
