Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Sales Compensation and Planning Manager to lead and optimize our sales compensation programs and planning processes. In this role, you will collaborate closely with sales, finance, and People (HR) teams to design effective compensation structures, drive strategic planning, and provide actionable insights that align with business objectives. The ideal candidate is data-driven, strategic, and passionate about empowering high-performing sales teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compensation Strategy & Design: Develop, implement, and manage sales compensation strategies that align with Axonius’ objectives, motivating sales performance and attracting top talent.
- Sales Planning & Forecasting: Work with sales leadership to forecast, model, and plan for revenue and sales targets, ensuring compensation structures support sales goals.
- Incentive Plan Management: Design and administer incentive plans that are fair, competitive, and drive desired sales behaviors, including quota setting, commission calculations, and payouts.
- Data Analysis & Insights: Leverage data to analyze sales performance and compensation effectiveness, providing insights that drive sales performance and refine compensation models.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Collaborate with finance to manage the budgeting and forecasting of sales compensation, ensuring programs stay within financial targets.
- Compliance & Documentation: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies; maintain accurate and accessible documentation of compensation plans and policies.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with People (HR), finance, and sales operations to align on compensation strategies, forecasting, and sales planning.
- Continuous Improvement: Assess and refine compensation processes to improve efficiency, transparency, and accuracy in compensation administration.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
- Experience: 5+ years in sales compensation, sales operations, or financial planning, preferably within the software or SaaS industry. Prior experience in a management or leadership role is preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of compensation strategies, incentive plans, and sales forecasting.
- Proficiency in CRM (e.g., Salesforce), BI tools, and compensation management software.
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
- Familiarity with SaaS business models and cybersecurity industry dynamics is a plus.

Annual Salary Range (does not include bonus or equity)
$160,000—$170,000 USD
