Avid Technology is looking for a Sales Compensation Analyst to join our Sales Compensation team. You will implement efficiencies to the existing end-to-end sales incentive process, take initiative, and provide continuous process improvements. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with great attention to details and ability to work independently. 

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

The Sales Compensation Analyst will be responsible for the administration of the Worldwide Sales Compensation Plan, policies, and procedures in effect. In addition, the role will assist management with design and modifications to the plan to align with the company’s objectives.

  • Performs day to day analysis and processing of commissions for the Worldwide Sales and Pre-Sales teams
  • Supports annual quota, policy and plan process, working closely with Sales Operations and Sales Management
  • Computes the Excel-based commissions including incentive plans, payee information, territory, and account assignments, crediting rules, compensation targets, quotas and quarterly plan components; and manages commission statements distribution process accurately and timely: from creation to sending to payroll team
  • Partners with Sales Operations to ensure timely adjustments or commission changes, including territory and quota assignments
  • Acts as the primary point of contact for compensation inquiries including resolve commission disputes, and responsible for providing any additional compensation plan training
  • Provides monthly reporting, forecasting, analytics for complex commissioned-based plans
  • Ensures compliance with incentive compensation policies and SOX control
  • Ad hoc projects

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting
  • 3+ years of sales compensation experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end enterprise incentive management and variable compensation plans
  • Expert level Excel skills are a must
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Service-oriented and effective at building positive relationships, fostering trust, and resolving conflict
  • Excellent organization and prioritization skills in a high paced environment
