JOB SUMMARY
The Sales and Commercial Director is an expert of rotating equipment service in Oil and Gas, and energy sector. Primarily for chemical and petrochemical applications, but also industrial and transportations sectors. Strong technical background of reciprocating, centrifugal compressors, pumps, gas and steam turbines applications, and other rotating equipment. Possesses strong market view and customer relationship development skills. Has strong commercial operation skills to be able to lead business development in assigned territories and customers. Possess proven track record on leading high performance teams globally located.
He/she will lead a sales / commercial team with focus in SSA, Europe and other regions, will drive and be accountable in order generation, margin expansion, and new market / customer reach.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead a team of sales/commercial resources to cover activities on assigned territories for Blackstone International, with focus on broaden portfolio of product offering including field service, parts sales, repairs, and Engineered Solutions in coordination with CST.
- Responsible to create and maintain customer relationship in country and drive market share penetration in the market.
- Coordinate with global commercial teams to develop proposals, quotations, and technical support solution for customer locally.
- Support and lead contract negotiations, risk assessment, etc
- Support project execution and customer interaction per contractual requirements coordinating with the rest of the organization
- Customer entry point for technical support and engineered solutions provision.
- Support data collection for equipment troubleshooting and Route Cause Analysis
- Responsible/accountable for order generation, and margin growth with assigned targets for the covered regions. Will assign sales targets to his/her team
- Support senior leadership to define overall company strategy, with special input on sales growth and new markets penetration
- Responsible to keep and update order intake score and forecasts, utilizing corporate platforms like Salesforce. Also responsible for accounts planning, and fleet mapping and penetration
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- BS degree in ME or technical disciplines (MBA preferred)
- Minimum 15 yrs experience of sales commercial activities in maintenance services in oil and gas/chemical/petrochemical
- Strong technical background of rotating equipment and auxiliaries, with special focus on operations and Maintenance
- Minimum 5 years experience in leading & directing a sales/commercial team located in multiple territories
- Ability to deliver on sales assigned targets but also capable of defining and drive long term strategic initiatives to grow the organization
- English speaking and good command of French / Spanish
- Strong communication, self starting/entrepreneurial attitude

This will include their medium voltage drives and AC motor selection for western Canada.
