Sales & Channel Activation Communications Lead
This role has been designed as ‘Hybrid’ with an expectation that you will work on average 2-3 days per week from an HPE office.

Job Description:
The HPE Sales & Channel Activation Communications Lead should possess and be able to demonstrate near-perfect writing and editing skills, mastery of communication strategy, and strong project management skills. Experience working with subject matter experts and transforming technical messaging into messaging that is more consumable by general audiences is a requirement.
This person will be required to:
- After onboarding, have master comprehension of the HPE mass communications model for sales and channel audiences, the HPE voice, and the HPE writing style guide
- Serve as a trusted advisor and communications liaison for assigned group(s)
- Host and lead team meetings with business representatives to determine business priorities and communications needs
- Lead the creation of monthly and quarterly editorial plans that span the HPE portfolio for sales and channel audiences
- Identify strategic ways to maximize audience reach and message relevancy, while streamlining communications
- Own the writing and execution of communications deliverables in support of approved editorial plans including, but not limited to:
- Articles
- Social media content
- Executive communication
- Invitations
- Support the news publishing process by lending editing skills to content written by colleagues
- Track the performance of communication deliverables to identify insights and adjust communications plans as necessary
Skills:
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and drive projects to successful completion
- Proven ability to convey complex concepts in meaningful, simple ways
- Strong leadership and organizational management skills
- Ability to successfully team with and collaborate across company functions
- Command of the English language and mastery of writing for global audiences
- Proven experience designing effective communications strategies and tactics
- Ability to interface effectively with all levels of management and functional disciplines
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field
- Advanced university degree preferred or equivalent experience
- At least seven years of experience in communication, marketing, or related field
- Experience writing for the IT industry preferred

The expected salary/wage range for a U.S.-based hire filling this position is provided below. Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level. If this is a sales role, then the listed salary range reflects combined base salary and target-level sales compensation pay. If this is a non-sales role, then the listed salary range reflects base salary only. Variable incentives may also be offered. USD Annual Salary: $89,400.00 - $206,500.00
