Job Summary
The Sales & Business Development Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and converting leads into long-term customers. This role focuses on market expansion, strategic partnerships, and solution-based selling of the company’s technology products and services.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Generation
* Identify, qualify, and pursue new sales opportunities for the company’s tech solutions.
* Present, promote, and sell products/services using consultative and value-based selling approaches.
* Prepare and deliver sales pitches, product demos, and proposals to prospective clients.
* Negotiate contracts and close deals in line with company targets.
* Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
Business Development & Market Expansion
* Research and identify new markets, industries, and customer segments.
* Build strategic partnerships and alliances that drive business growth.
* Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, and referrals.
* Monitor industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies to identify growth opportunities.
Client Relationship Management
* Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and key decision-makers.
* Act as the primary point of contact for clients during pre-sales and early onboarding stages.
* Work closely with technical and delivery teams to ensure client needs are clearly understood and met.
* Gather customer feedback to support product improvement and service optimization.
Reporting & Collaboration
* Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and sales activities in the CRM system.
* Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and market insights to management.
* Collaborate with marketing teams on campaigns, lead generation, and brand positioning initiatives.
Requirements & Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
* 2–5 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in a tech or software company.
* Strong understanding of technology products, digital solutions, or SaaS-based services.
* Proven ability to generate leads, close deals, and manage sales pipelines.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Strong problem-solving mindset with a customer-focused approach.
