Capvision is currently looking for a Sales Associate to assist with their continued rapid expansion into the Americas regions.

In this role, you will work with the Business Development team to identify, qualify, and build meaningful relationships with clients around the world. Our Business Development team is responsible for identifying Capvision users within new and existing accounts, as well as growing the relationship alongside our research team. This person will join a growing team that works with some of the largest investment management firms and consultancies in the world, helping to discover our client’s business initiatives and acting as the Capvision advocate.

In this role, you will gain direct exposure to client outreach, relationship management and strong communication skills with significant career progression opportunities at our fast growing firm.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate Capvision’s value proposition across our entire universe of research services
  • Grow and track existing accounts to identify additional opportunities such as new users and up-selling opportunities
  • Lead generation: Connect with prospects through strong written and verbal communication
  • Gain commitment for an initial visit or initial call with a Senior Sales Associate
  • Assist Sales Team with user acquisition and prospecting strategies

Qualifications:

  • Strong academic background gained in any fully accredited undergraduate bachelor's degree program with a GPA of 3.3 or higher (finance or economics preferred)
  • 6-8 months of professional sales or business development experience; new grads encouraged to apply
  • Proven sales experience in any field of professional sales; Familiar with selling directly or indirectly in a competitive landscape
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients
  • Good with ambiguity and taking initiative, with agility to make things happen
  • Detail-oriented, strong organizational skills and ability to multitask projects in a fast-paced & changing environment both independently & collaboratively 
  • Demonstrable ability to learn quickly and adapt to a growing, fast-paced working environment
  • Positive, motivated, goal-oriented mentality
  • Eligible to work in the US, including F-1 visa holders with Optional Practical Training (OPT) status of 3 years.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience with financial institutions, including but not limited to Hedge Funds, PE Firms, Asset Managers, and Consulting Firms
  • Familiar with sales tools such as Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Pitchbook

  • Competitive compensation and bonus program. Base salary of $68,000 + Sign-on bonus of $3,000 + 10% first year target performance bonus
