We’re Many Hands, and we’re looking for a charismatic and positive Sales Associate who can be the welcoming face of our ministry. This role is far more than just ringing up purchases—it's about creating meaningful connections and representing our mission, vision, and core values to every person who walks through our doors. 

What you'll do

 Your primary mission is to provide an excellent customer experience through friendly, persuasive, and helpful interactions. 

  •  Be the Welcoming Star: Greet and enthusiastically interact with every customer, creating an inviting and positive shopping environment.
  • The Go-To Expert: Use your persuasive communication skills to answer questions and provide information about our merchandise, helping customers find exactly what they need.
  • Resolve & Relate: Assist customers in locating products and help them with any concerns or complaints, ensuring they leave happy and satisfied.
  • Handle Transactions: Accurately collect payments using our Point-of-Sale (POS) system and handle cash/refunds with basic math skills. You'll also ensure accurate transactions by balancing your register at the start and end of your shift.
  • The Finishing Touch: Efficiently bag, box, and wrap purchased items.
  • Champion Our Mission: Positively represent the ministry of Many Hands in all your interactions.

We’re looking for someone who shines when interacting with the public and thrives in a structured, systematic, and predictable work environment. 

  •  A People Person: You’re outgoing, comfortable meeting new people, and use a naturally persuasive, "selling" communication style.
  • Positive & Upbeat: You set a motivational, optimistic tone for both customers and colleagues.
  • Excellent Communicator: Superior verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Reliable & Orderly: You appreciate routine, work well in an orderly environment, and possess the stamina for prolonged periods of standing and walking.
  • A Quick Learner: You have the ability to operate or quickly learn a POS system and other standard retail equipment (we provide all the on-the-job training you’ll need!).
  • Physical Ability: Must be able to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
