Sales Associate Intern
Job Summary
As part of RedSail’s Sales Development Team, the Sales Associate will be at the forefront of program/product launches and driving enrollment into our pharmacy network while nurturing and driving lead generation for our customers (new/existing). This position would be ideal for candidates looking to start their career in sales and wanting to be a part of a Sales Development team. This role will help generate demand and end-user touchpoints while managing the sales process through active lead generation, business planning, opportunity development, and the closing process. This role involves working cross-functionally with RedSail’s Sales Consultants, Marketing, Training, Operations, Program Effectiveness, Support, and Clinical Services. Individuals will help drive awareness for RedSail’s Portfolio of Solutions as well as provide sales support for our Sales Consultants.
Key Duties
- Lead Generation/Call Campaigns
- Email & Prospect Outreach
- CRM Data Input/ Needs
- Sales Training to ensure knowledge and understanding of program offerings.
- Collaborate with Program Effectiveness to secure and gain insights into customer-specific ROI and benefits, then tailor customized messaging.
- Utilizing a consultative approach, generate call points into our Pharmacy Network’s Key Decision Makers (CEO, VP of Pharmacy Operations, Director of Clinical Programs, Pharmacy Owner) for RedSail’s Network Services programs and services.
- Research, prepare, and present customer-focused presentations/webinars.
- Discovery and Data Mining
- Sales Analysis and Report Insight Delivery
- Conduct discovery conversations utilizing call guides to qualify the target for one or more of RedSail’s program solutions
- Call Campaign Outreach Management and Reporting
- Support a partnered Sales consultant during customer relationship interactions through face-to-face contact and client opportunities
- Understand how a pharmacy is organized and managed through participating in various on-site meetings and workflow assessments
- Participate in an implementation; learn and utilize RedSail solutions.
- Support Program launch/marketing efforts through booth ambassador responsibilities at trade shows and regional events
- Observe and support all phases of the program activation/monitoring cycles.
- Utilize RedSail’s CRM software and other necessary tools for accurate and detailed data capture and metrics
Education/Training
- Bachelor’s degree in a Business-related field, Communications, or related area.

Salary Range
- $22.00 Hourly
Work Location
- RedSail Office (Pittsburgh/Cranberry Township, PA)
- This position is classified as a hybrid role with both in-office (4 Days) and remote expectations.
- Ability to travel up to 15%
