At Rolwes Company our mission is simple; Improve Lives by Building Great Homes. That starts with creating exceptional experiences in our homes. Our Sales Assistants take home buyers on a tour of our beautiful display homes and help them understand the floor plans and unique features available. You will keep the sales momentum going by scheduling appointments, following up on prospects, and keeping the sales office organized. Sales Assistants don't have sales goals, however there is potential in the future to move to a commissioned Sales Specialist position for those who are interested and have demonstrated the capabilities for this role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Greet and qualify visitors/home buyers
  • Showcase model homes/inventory homes/home sites
  • Overcome sales objections
  • Prepare initial home build/purchase agreement
  • Respond to customer requests for information
  • Maintain model home and move in ready homes appearance and basic housekeeping
  • Maintain inventory of the sales office for appropriate disclosures, supplies, repairs, marketing materials, etc.
  • Develop and maintain good rapport with prospective customers, realtors, referral partners, and team members
  • Execute policies to ensure compliance with quality standards and fair housing

Qualifications

  • Face-to-face customer service and/or sales experience (for example, retail sales)
  • Excellent and professional verbal and written communication skills, including advanced listening skills; detail oriented and professional demeanor
  • Must be technology savvy for use of smart phone, tablet, and various software
  • Ability and willingness to learn sales tools
  • Valid driver license with satisfactory driving record required
  • Knowledge of industry preferred but not required
  • Flexibility to work nights and weekends; and travel to multiple communities as needed

Essential Environmental Demands:

  • Generally INSIDE the environment.
  • Generally Air-Conditioned/Heated environment.
  • Generally Dry, Non-hazardous environment.
  • Background noise is light to moderate office noises.
  • Environment is not controlled for fumes, dust, or odors.

Essential Physical Demands:

  • Able to work independently without supervision on site.
  • Lifting up to 25 pounds.
  • Frequent steps and walking.
  • Occasional stooping or bending over.
  • Occasional overhead, as well as horizontal reaching, is required.
  • Must be able to navigate uneven terrain and homes under construction.

This position reports directly to the Sales Manager or another manager as directed. This job description is not limited to the specific duties and responsibilities as outlined. The employee may be required to perform duties of a similar or comparable nature and/or assist with projects or assignments as required.

Skills Required
