Job Description:
THE OPPORTUNITY
This is a fast-paced, high profile position, supporting the Vice President of Trade Sales. From administrative tasks, to sales reporting, this role works with every department within Trade and is perfect for a motivated, detail-oriented, and independent person who wants to learn about Children’s publishing.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Create and distribute weekly sales reports to Leadership team and distribute Bookscan reporting weekly.

Coordinate and plan three national sales conferences a year; including organizing and running a weekly meeting, creating agenda, organizing conference, maintaining attendee list, creating and distributing meeting materials, maintaining budget, etc.

Send agenda and notes for two Sales Review meetings a month—coordinate with VP Trade Sales.

Update terms of sales of sale, including meet comp agreements and stock offers. Create and distribute laydown contracts.

Communicate Sales feedback to publishers in monthly call reports. Field Publisher requests for sales data, business reviews, and partner with marketing on sales assets.

Maintain new rep set up and account coding in Oracle, approve invoices in Catalyst.

Administrative assistance for VP Trade Sales including calendar management, arranging business travel, managing expense reports, etc.
