About the Role

·       Sales support: Assist the Sales Manager in charge of relevant market, supervise and co-ordinate all aspects of group tour arrangements in all European destinations with the support of our destination offices.

·       Markets: Nordics (Norway / Denmark / Sweden / Finland / Iceland) or UK and DACH markets (UK / Northern Ireland / Germany / Austria / Netherlands / Poland)

·       Sales reports & administrative tasks: Follow-up the tours in the system and ensure each confirmed group is invoiced and paid by the client.

Key Activities

 ·       Sales support activities

o   Liaise with Operation Offices and other internal departments to ensure that requested services are booked and confirmed within the required deadlines when a group is materialized.

o   Make necessary amendments to itineraries and rooming-list, control changes and cancellations for smooth running of operations

o   Keep close communication with our local offices and make sure business is operated smoothly

o   Prepare all necessary documentation for client and ensure they receive this in good time before the departure of a group

o   Assist Sales Manager in product development

o   Quotation process for the new requests, creating an offers for the agents.

 

·       Sales reports & administrative tasks

o   Ensure each confirmed group is fully prepaid in due time unless credit facilities exist

o   Assist Sales Manager in getting more information from client to enrich client’s profile in the CRM database

TO SUCCEED IN THE ROLE, YOU SHOULD HAVE 

Knowledge

  • Degree qualified in Tourism and Travel Business

  • Good understanding of the travel industry and market requirements

  • Good technical skills in Microsoft Office – Word/Excel/PDF

  • Fluent English language skills

 

Skills         

  • Very well organized, able to prioritize tasks

  • Ability to work under a lot of pressure from the clients

  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with our destination offices

  • Team spirit, ability to work within a group

 

Experience

·       Minimum of 2 years as Sales Assistant

·       Experience in Inbound Travel in Europe experience is an asset

 

Skills Required

  • Degree in Tourism and Travel Business

  • Technical proficiency with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PDF
  • Fluent English language skills
  • Strong organization and ability to prioritize tasks

  • Inbound travel experience in Europe
