Sales Assistant – Redruth (TR15 3RR) - Plumb Centre

As a Sales Assistant based in Redruth (TR15 3RR), you’ll be responsible for:
Assisting customers at the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing product recommendations
Dealing with customer enquiries via phone & email promptly and courteously, with a proactive attitude
Providing excellent service, establishing strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and suppliers
Proactively seeking opportunities to grow sales within the branch, working with both existing and new customers
Completing general warehouse duties, including picking and packing orders (which will involve some heavy lifting), organising deliveries and merchandising displays to a high standard
Driving delivery Vehicle and completing customer orders.
This is a Full Time, permanent role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday 08:00am- 17:00pm. Saturday working when required 8am to 12pm, paid as overtime.

Proven experience in sales and customer service
Excellent communication skills and confidence speaking with customers
A hands-on approach, using initiative when needed to work as part of a small team and support in all areas at the branch
Eagerness to learn, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude
Full Driving licence
