Job Description

Drive Sales Success – Join Our Team as a Sales Assistant in Autobarn Mt Gambier!

We're looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team in Autobarn Mt Gambier , Australia. In this role, you'll be the backbone of our sales operations, supporting our sales team and customers while contributing to our collective success. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and helping us achieve our sales targets. Provide outstanding customer service by responding to inquiries, addressing concerns, and offering product recommendations with enthusiasm and professionalism.

Support the sales team by preparing sales materials, managing customer databases, and organizing sales documentation to ensure smooth operations.

Contribute to achieving sales targets and key performance indicators through proactive customer engagement and follow-up activities.

Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and sales activities using company systems and tools.

Assist with product demonstrations, presentations, and customer onboarding to ensure clients feel supported and informed.

Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for improvement and share best practices that drive collective success.

Maintain a professional and organized workspace while adhering to all company policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for helping customers.

Basic computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while maintaining individual accountability.

Attention to detail and analytical mindset to ensure accuracy in all tasks and documentation.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to professional conduct.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in a sales, retail, or customer service role.

Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems or sales software.

Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding performance targets and KPIs.

Knowledge of the industry or product category relevant to our business.

Certification or training in sales techniques, customer service, or business communication.
