Compensation Range

About This Job
The main purpose of this job is to support Commerce Bank Financial Advisors in case management, processing and handling all functions necessary to provide quality service to investment clients.
Essential Functions
Prepare new account paperwork and/or maintenance documents for client appointments
Assist financial advisors with handling receipts and disbursement for accounts
Assist with various mailings and campaigns
Responsible for opening and maintaining client accounts
Ensure timely response to client requests
Place trades as received from the financial advisors or clients
Assist with internal and external client phone calls as needed
Perform other duties as assigned

Basic knowledge of the brokerage industry
Strong problem solving skills and ability to work independently
Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities
Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new applications quickly and with ease
Excellent customer service skills and strong analytical thinking
Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities

Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
1+ year experience in processing or customer service, preferably in banking, finance, insurance or the investment industry required
Series 7 and Series 63 licenses preferred, or ability to obtain within one year of obtaining position
