This role combines sales with marketing execution responsibilities to secure interest, position the value of CSG Forte’s solutions, and secure new small and medium sized customers / merchants.

  • Drive proactive inside and field-based sales efforts (approximately 40–50% field activity), including prospecting, appointment setting, and in-person provider visits, to independently advance and close opportunities.
  • Send provider materials, marketing collateral, educational resources, and follow-up communications via email, text message, other digital channels, and in-person visits
  • Conduct outbound outreach to prospective and existing customers to increase engagement and awareness of products and services.
  • Conduct appointments, meetings, product demonstrations, merchant enrollment activities, and follow-up with prospective customers, both virtually and in person, to advance deal progression.
  • Independently qualify leads and determine appropriate engagement strategies to move opportunities through the sales cycle.
  • Track, manage, and maintain accurate customer and prospect activity records within CRM systems.
  • Meet or exceed assigned sales and conversion targets through consistent execution and deal closure.
  • Assist in nurturing leads generated from marketing campaigns, events, webinars, and inbound inquiries.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers, including hospitals and health systems, physician and specialty practices, dental and orthodontic offices, chiropractic, physical therapy, veterinary, and behavioral health practices, through responsive communication and follow-up with practice owners, administrators, billing and revenue cycle managers, and finance leaders.
  • Provide timely responses to customer inquiries and requests for information.
  • Educate customers on merchant services and payment technology solutions, including point-of-sale (POS) and card-present terminals, digital and online payment acceptance, text-to-pay, and recurring or installment payment solutions, while sharing relevant materials and coordinating outreach campaigns.
  • Work collaboratively across Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to ensure consistent communication and customer experience.

Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who have:

  • Associate’s degree in business, marketing, communications, related field or equivalent work experience.

  • Ability to build, manage, and maintain positive customer relationships to support sales progression and deal closure.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to independently manage a pipeline of opportunities and multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working in a metric-driven environment focused on outreach activity and revenue generation.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally with Sales and Marketing teams.
  • Self-starter attitude with strong initiative and follow-through, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of sales outcomes.
