Sales & Marketing Controller
About the Role
At Essity, we are looking for a Sales & Marketing Controller who is passionate about turning data into actionable insights and supporting commercial teams to drive business growth. This role is key in monitoring financial performance, strengthening decision-making, and ensuring profitability across our Business Units.
What You Will DoAnalyze and control the financial performance of the Business Units (P&L, Working Capital, Cash Flow).
Lead budget preparation, forecasting, and scenario planning.
Evaluate business cases, investments, and new project proposals.
Develop financial guidelines, reporting standards, and deliverables aligned with Corporate Finance.
Prepare monthly reports, business presentations, and variance analysis for senior leadership.
Provide financial insights to Sales, Marketing, and cross-functional teams to strengthen strategy execution.
Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, or related fields.
2+ years of experience in Controlling, Financial Planning, Commercial Finance, or Business Controlling roles.
Strong analytical and business partnering capability with exposure to commercial areas (Sales/Marketing).
Advanced proficiency in SAP (R3 / BW), Power BI, and Microsoft Office.
Competencies: Analytical thinking, planning & organization, problem solving, adaptability, accuracy & quality focus, negotiation.

Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, or related field
- 2+ years experience in Controlling, Financial Planning, Commercial Finance, or Business Controlling
- Advanced proficiency in SAP R3
- Advanced proficiency in SAP BW
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical and business partnering capability with exposure to Sales/Marketing
