Job Overview

Reporting directly to the Country Manager, you will be responsible for delivering product application solutions to sales channels and customers through engaging product presentations, demonstrations, sales visits, seminars, and workshops. You will implement go-to-market strategies and programs aimed at achieving overall revenue targets and expanding market share within assigned verticals. This includes driving brand awareness through market creation activities and collaborating with distribution partners to build strong sales funnels. You will also perform competitive analysis on Test & Measurement products to inform strategic decisions. Success in this role requires consistently meeting sales targets, maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, and actively identifying new sales opportunities in a timely manner. The position demands a hands-on operational approach, exceptional organizational skills, high motivation, and a disciplined mindset in managing people and maintaining professional standards.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Identify high-value opportunities across Hyperscalers, Colocation providers, and enterprise data centres.
  • Develop and manage relationships with Hyperscalers, Colocation operators, EPC contractors and Engineering consultants.
  • Influence stakeholders early in the project lifecycle to drive specification inclusion.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners and key customers through regular visits and calls.
  • Identify and build senior-level relationships with key customers.
  • Achieve assigned annual sales targets
  • Solution/value-based selling mindset; self-driven and results-oriented.
  • Deliver product application solutions under the One Fluke approach via training sessions, product demonstrations, seminars, workshops and sales engagements.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive revenue growth in current markets and expand into new verticals.
  • Support and execute go-to-market strategies and tactical programs in partnership with the Product Marketing Manager to achieve revenue, brand awareness, and market share goals.
  • Monitor and manage the sales funnel monthly with channel partners to meet forecasted targets and secure or renew orders across assigned channels and verticals.
  • Lead, motivate, and support channel representatives to meet performance objectives.
  • Willing to travel at least 50% of the time within Malaysia.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Country Manager.

Qualifications - External

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Marketing, or equivalent experience in the Test & Measurement technical field; a background in Business Studies or an MBA is a plus.
  • Demonstrated success in technical sales, with a proven ability to present and sell Test & Measurement equipment effectively.
  • Experience or knowledge in Industrial Channel Marketing or related industries, particularly within the Data Centre sectors, is highly desirable.
  • Solid background in channel and sales management within a field sales role in a similar industry.
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in a technical sales and experience in data centres or related industries (HVAC, Cabling & Network, Power, Infrastructure).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Proven track record of winning large-scale projects
  • Excellent technical and engineering knowledge; prior experience in the Test & Measurement industry is added advantage.
  • Persuasive communicator with the ability to influence decisions and promote ideas effectively.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to thrive in a matrix management structure.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills in English.
  • Adaptable and responsive to evolving market conditions and business demands.
  • Capacity to manage multiple priorities and deliver results aligned with the One Fluke approach.
