The Sales Analyst will bring strong analytical skills and process focus to support and enhance the ORV Retail Flow Management (RFM) strategy. Candidate will be responsible for the workflow between operations and the field sales teams as they perform order analysis/management, dealer profile management, and track order/product availability to influence build mix and optimize retail velocity. This position provides a driven, team-focused, individual with a passion for performance and the outdoors with the perfect opportunity to play a critical role in the analysis and performance monitoring side of our sales team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develops and maintains electronic dealer order forms in DEX including leading projects to continually improve the dealer order process.
- Creates Retail Flow Management (RFM) dealer profile targets and tools necessary for field sales and dealership consensus and systematic approval of dealer profiles.
- Creates allocation strategy of new product launches across the dealer network in coordination with Product Line Sales and Operations.
- Manages dealer open order bank to ensure orders are fulfilled in a timely manner or adjusted to ensure dealers have appropriate levels of merchandise to meet retail goals. Reports on Order results to management with ongoing reports and detailed analysis.
- Manages RFM Program Profile Compliance including dealer benefits (Flex Bank, Flooring, and non-profile orders) as well as non-compliance penalties.
- Ensures corporate shipping goals are established and met through cross-functional coordination between Sales, Product Groups and Operations.
- Compiles and forecasts future dealer order volumes and product mix and analyzes order trends with the assistance of product line sales.
- Provides management with reporting and analysis to monitor progress towards achieving goals and inventory health.
- Execute projects to enhance existing processes, including redefining RFM segments.
- Work closely with Dealer Development to establish new dealer profiles and assist with dealer adds and exits. Additionally, establish relationships with Polaris Acceptance for managing dealer credit to maximize financial outcomes.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, data science, economics, or equivalent
- 2-4 years of experience in a similar position preferred
- Systems expertise with Excel, Power BI, Oracle, Show Case Query, Alteryx, Blue Yonder, and AS/400 applications
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Advanced communication skills
- Detail oriented, ability to prioritize workload
- Proven success in a team environment, self-starter who is comfortable working independently with demonstrated decision-making abilities
- Retail analytics and logistics or inventory management experience is a plus
