Sales Analyst, Walmart – Front End

Bentonville, AR

The Sales Analyst on the Front End Walmart Team is responsible for enabling the customer team with full analytical support for the Mars Wrigley business.  This role is expected to create, deliver and maintain reporting and analysis in support of the customer team to deliver objectives of revenue, growth, profit, product/assortment, placement/everyday shelving, merchandising, pricing and promotions.

What are we looking for?

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 2 years Business Analytics experience preferably in Sales, Category Management, Operations and/or Finance 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel

  • Ability to travel 5% of the time

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or advanced degree

  • 3+ years Business Analytics experience preferably in Sales, Category Management, Operations and/or Finance 

  • CPG industry experience

  • Strong analytical skills

What would be your key responsibilities?

With full understanding of the annual customer business planning, customer solutions and company objectives, this role enables the customer team in all activity by:

  • Creating and producing reports to perform a wide range of analytics that drive insights and actionable items to be used by the customer team

  • Assembling analyses/reports from multiple data sources (Nielsen, Scintilla, DSRM, PowerBI) that track achievement, yield insights and support the development of customer solutions that benefit the customer and company

  • Seeking ways (projects) to deliver continuous improvements in the process (better, faster) and deliver data that leads to action for building the business, preventing issues and advancing decision making

  • Developing expertise in leveraging available tools and processes

  • Developing processes that deliver the required analysis in a timely and effective way (both routine analysis and special analysis); supporting fact-based information needs of the customer team

  • Being a communication link between internal and external partners; represent customer team at appropriate internal meetings and/or customer meetings
