Position Summary
Make AI real, safe, and valuable for our Loan Officers. You will research, evaluate, integrate, launch, and scale third-party AI tools—and partner on internal builds—so Sales can spend more time in high-value conversations and less time on busywork. You’ll spend time with Loan Officers to deeply understand their needs, pain points, and daily workflows, identifying the biggest opportunities for AI to simplify their work and drive productivity. You’ll also work closely with the AI risk, software advisory, legal, compliance, vendor management, and InfoSec teams to evaluate and approve vendors for use in the field.
Compensation
This role is an exempt position with a Targeted Salary Range of $101,000 - $152,000 annually.
Compensation at Guild is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to local and federal minimum wage requirements, education, level of experience, and applicant’s geographical location.
Essential Functions
- AI Strategy & Roadmap
- Define and execute the vision and roadmap for AI-driven sales enablement tools.
- Collaborate with other Product Managers and Product Owners (CRM, Point of Sale, Marketing Automation) to ensure a cohesive AI strategy and aligned roadmap through our sales tech stack.
- In collaboration with the AI architects, develop a build buy framework to guide decisions on whether to create in-house solutions or adopt external vendor technologies.
- Establish and maintain an inventory of AI capabilities across the existing tech stack to identify opportunities for increased utilization, optimization, and integration.
- Evaluate emerging AI trends and apply them to the retail mortgage sales environment.
- Field Discovery & Use-Case Productization
- Run structured discovery with LOs/Sales Leaders; translate pain points into a quarterly, value-ranked AI use-case roadmap with clear KPIs and adoption targets.
- Define success criteria, control groups, and measurement plans (time saved, activity lift, speed-to-lead, conversion deltas).
- Vendor Evaluation & Risk Approvals (Inside Our Existing Governance)
- Build market scans and shortlists; lead scorecards and proof-of-value pilots.
- Drive approvals end-to-end through AI Risk Advisory, Software Advisory, Legal, Compliance, vendor management and InfoSec—owning the intake and project management of the approval process.
- Apply risk tiering and fast lanes where eligible (e.g., zero-PII or read-only integrations) while escalating higher-risk flows as required.
- Integration & Workflow Design
- Map current future workflows; design in-workflow experiences across CRM, Loan Origination System (LOS), Point of Sale, Product & Pricing Engine, Marketing automation and telephony.
- Work with the technical team to specify integration patterns (APIs, webhooks, iPaaS, SSO/OAuth, least-privilege roles) and acceptance criteria; partner with Product/Engineering and Enterprise Architecture.
- Enablement, Change & Adoption
- Build role-based playbooks, prompt libraries, templates, micro-learning, and manager toolkits; stand up training and branch champions.
- Collaborate with the AI Training and Enablement Specialist to ensure a robust training and enablement plan is in place for Sales.
- Performance & Lifecycle Management
- Measure the adoption and impact of AI and vendor solutions to inform future investments and promotion of tools.
- Maintain an Approved AI Vendor Catalog with lifecycle statuses (pilot, scale, deprecate) and associated guardrails/model cards.
- Internal Build Liaison
- When “build beats buy,” convert field requirements into BRDs and work with internal Product/AI teams on delivery and rollout.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree directly related to the position or equivalent, required.
- Minimum six years' experience in Product Management, Sales Enablement, or Process improvement.
- Prosci/ADKAR, Lean Six Sigma, Salesforce Admin/Product Owner, plus (not required).
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to work well independently or within a team.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills required.
