The Sales Administrator role offers flexible support to the Sales team.  This role helps in maintaining data integrity, supporting sales reporting, and handling administrative documentation related to retailer accounts.      

                                   

Responsibility Summary & Percent Time Spent

  • Complete Retailer item change forms and new product listing documentation accurately and within deadlines. (30%)
  • Execute accurate data entry and gather publicly available competitive information. (20%)
  • Collaborate with the Sales Operations team to support the Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) process. (10%)
  • Assist in verifying the integrity of data, ensuring accurate stages, values, and dates. (10%)
  • Track key performance indicators and departmental metrics, promptly flagging any inconsistencies or anomalies. (10%)
  • Support process improvement initiatives through various tools and technologies. (10%)
  • Compile and format raw sales data into organized, digestible spreadsheets. (10%)

Job Requirements                                

  • Proficiency in Google Workspace applications, Microsoft Office applications, the internet and social media platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills with the proven ability to multitask effectively.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills, particularly in data validation.
  • Proven ability to follow both oral and written instructions accurately.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work autonomously.
  • Fluent in English, with the ability to communicate professionally and accurately (both in writing and orally) with both internal and external teams. Bilingual is a nice to have, not mandatory.

The hourly rate pay for this position at Scotts will generally fall between $19.90 - 24.90 per hour and is paid weekly. Scotts will consider various factors in determining the actual pay including your skills, qualifications, experience, and geographical location.

The hours for this position are variable, ranging from 24 to 37.5 hours per week, based on current business needs. Must be based in a location that enables 1-2 days per week in the Mississauga office.
