BackgroundTeledyne LABS is a leading US manufacturer and supplier of laboratory products, including preparative purification instruments and consumables, manufacturing quality dissolution and diffusion equipment, and precision pumps. The primary markets for these products include chemical and pharmaceutical, discovery and development, labs as well as research and quality control laboratories. The high-pressure precision fluid delivery systems which are used in a number of niche areas including Oil exploration research (core flooding), high pressure chemistry and catalysis and delivery of Supercritical fluids.Job SummaryThis position is responsible for selling the Teledyne LABS products including preparative chromatography, pumps, dissolution and diffusion products, autosamplers, Mercury analysis, TOC, VOC and GC-Sample Prep.Primary responsibility would include finding, generating and developing new relationships in order to sell the company’s products to end-users. Key markets include Environmental Labs, Pharmaceutical Labs, Contract Research Labs, Oil & Gas Labs and University Research Labs. You would be responsible for assessing and demonstrating potential application of company products or services and offer solutions that meet customer needs. Responsible for new account development and/or expanding existing accounts. Creates awareness and demand for company products. Sales coverage will be the Southern region of the United States. Ideal location is based in Texas. Works remotely in home office environment under general supervision. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action; a certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.Duties:
- Hit target for your territory for each fiscal year.
- Develop and maintain a territory sales plan that focuses on key accounts and sales stimulus activities including planned seminars, product shows, and mailings.
- Profile and penetrate key accounts by developing account profiles.
- Understand customer organizations by department, function, strategies, and key programs.
- Master the basic features and benefits of the primary products
- Identify and sell into new and existing applications for Teledyne products.
- Demonstrate basic operation of our products.
- Effectively utilize sales resources including applications engineers, inside sales representatives, and customer service representatives.
- Daily availability to include evenings and weekends when necessary to reach goals and deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of Salesforce.com, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.
- Follows all import/export requirements, consulting with facility import/export personnel as required.
- Ability to work remotely and independently with minimal direct supervision. Must be internally motivated and measured by sales goal accomplishment.
- Need space within personal space for home office.
- US Citizenship.
- Ability to travel domestically approximately 60% with overnight stays.

Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in a related field or equivalent
- 2-5 years directly related experience selling laboratory equipment and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with chromatography methodology and regulatory labs
