JOB TITLE: Sales Account and Business Development Manager
RESPONSIBLE TO: Country Manager – Asia
MAIN LOCATION: Guangzhou, China
Objective:
As a Key Account and Business Development Manager, you will both maintain and grow existing relationships whilst also identifying new business opportunities in order to generate revenue, improve profitability and help the business grow. Through maintaining and building strategic partnerships, driving revenue generation for the company and identifying new opportunities to increase sales, you will play a crucial role in expanding the organisation's market presence, fostering relationships with clients, and developing innovative strategies to meet sales targets and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain business relationship with assigned key accounts for long term partnership and revenue growth
- Coordinate with key stakeholders to drive new business development and
- Conduct regular business review meeting to ensure operation excellence and customer
- Upsell / cross-sell to expand the revenue profile and share of
- Regular update pipeline status and market
- Evaluating customer requests and market demands, collaborating internally with the DS and Ops teams.
- Gathering feedback from wider team and conducting analysis before working with internal partners on new product setup and cost enhancement possibilities.
- Identify potential markets, industries and segments for business expansion.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and revenue.
- Engaging in indoor sales activities and identifying new markets and market
- China / oversea market development
- Build a healthy pipeline of new business opportunities based on new business target
Essential Skills:
- Degree holder in Business, Logistics or related
- Minimum 5 years key account management and development, preferably in logistics / transportation industry.
- Familiar with the cross border eCommerce industry is an added
- Self-motivated with strong sense of tasks Previous experience in new business sales.
- Strong Account Management, interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Solid new business experience
- Experience in CRM
- A positive, pro-active, go-get-um attitude
- Customer centric
- Highly self-motivated
- Good command of spoken & written English and Chinese/Mandarin.
Additional Requirements:
- In addition to the responsibilities listed above the post holder may be required to perform other duties assigned by the Senior Management Team from time-to-time. Subject to adequate experience and/or training.
- To participate in the annual performance appraisal process and objective
- To work in accordance with all APG policies including Health and Safety, Employment, Staff, Quality and Environmental.
- To adhere to company wide information security policies, as outlined and agreed within the first month of employment.
