Singapore Account Manager
Ribbon Communications is looking for a talented Sales Account Manager to join our APAC sales team. The Sales Account Manager should increase company sales to new and existing customers in the region, to all relevant segments such as Service Providers, Utilities, Datacenters, and Enterprises.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the overall sales cycle for opportunities, such as: identify underlying opportunity, qualify opportunity, gather internal approvals and go-decision. Supports proposal process, proposal quality assurance, deliver proposal to customer, follow-up on decision win/loss analysis
- Maintain up-to-date Salesforce forecasting and pipeline, submit regular reports to management along with forecasts
- Gain a deep understanding of the customers network and short/long term requirements allowing you to position Ribbon’s solutions; expectation is to sell the entire Ribbon Enterprise portfolio, which consists of voice, IP, and Optical
- Demonstrate expertise in building business cases which clearly show value and differentiation at all levels of your customer / prospect organizations.
- You will benefit from robust Sales Engineering, Solution Architecture, Value Consulting and Transformation Teams throughout your sales cycles.
- You will win deals through proper planning and preparation, as well as being consultative in your approach to solving real business problems.
- Work closely with your SE team, management, and other Ribbon resources to ensure customer features and requirements are understood and represented in the road map where applicable.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience and a solid understanding of the Telecommunications industry, markets, and products.
- Proven networking for the telecom industry, CxO level.
- Deep knowledge, experience, and excellent relationships in telecom partners and customers; Service providers, Mobile operators, Cable companies / MSO’s Utilities and Enterprise - Mandatory.
- A Proven track record of delivering sales quota to objectives in telecom solutions – Mandatory.
- Strong previous background in identifying, engaging and on board new channel partners.
- Effective at building relationships (internally and with partners), collaborating, and influencing others; experience working with senior executives/ partners in cross-company projects.
- Must be results-oriented, have high integrity, and a desire to be part of a cutting-edge technology telecom company.
- Good presentation and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage all sales related activities in a region
- Demonstrated ability to drive a sense of urgency throughout the organization and to drive important initiatives to completion
