The Opportunity

Allegro MicroSystems is strategically expanding its presence in the Italian market, and we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Key Account Manager to join our dynamic European sales team. This critical position offers a unique opportunity to drive significant growth with assigned customers, directly contributing to Allegro's success in the automotive and industrial sectors. You will operate from a home office, ideally based in the Milan or Turin regions, and engage in close collaboration with our various European offices. This role is perfect for a sales professional eager to make a substantial impact within a leading global semiconductor company.

What You Will Do

  • Identifying, developing, and managing the entire sales process, from demand creation to the successful closing of business opportunities.

  • Identifying new business opportunities for Allegro's existing product portfolio within the automotive and industrial markets, with a strong emphasis on complex motor drivers, analog and digital magnetic sensors, and voltage regulators, to support our growth objectives.

  • Identifying specific new programs and evolving market trends, along with their associated technical requirements, in close cooperation with Field Application Engineers and relevant Business Units.

  • Proactively progressing existing sales opportunities through the pipeline.

  • Maintaining an accurate and up-to-date sales forecast and opportunity funnel.

  • Collaborating closely with Management to develop and implement strategic sales plans that align with corporate objectives.

What You Will Bring

  • A Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related technical field is preferred.

  • Over 5 years of proven experience in sales, ideally within the semiconductor or high-tech industry.

  • A strong understanding of the Industrial market landscape.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, capable of building strong relationships.

  • A self-motivated and goal-oriented approach to achieving targets.

  • Deep knowledge and experience in establishing effective sales coverage strategies.

  • The ability to multi-task effectively and work cross-functionally within a global organization.

  • Strong organizational skills to manage complex accounts and priorities.

  • A strong willingness to travel as required to meet business needs.

  • Demonstrated creative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
