We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Account Manager to join our team. This individual will be responsible for driving new client acquisition as well as growing and retaining existing client revenue within our trading and market data segment.
Some of the awesome things you’ll be involved with:
New Client Acquisition

Identify and target potential clients in the capital markets sector.

Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to attract new business.

Conduct market research to understand client needs and industry trends.

Present and demonstrate our products and services to prospective clients.

Negotiate contracts and close deals.
Client Growth and Retention

Manage and nurture relationships with existing clients to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty.

Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional products and services.

Conduct regular reviews with clients to ensure their needs are being met and to identify any potential issues.
Market and Product Expertise

Maintain a deep understanding of our products, services, and competitive landscape.

Stay informed about industry developments and trends.

A subject matter expert, providing insights and advice to clients and prospects.
Sales Strategy and Execution

Develop and implement effective sales strategies to exceed sales targets.

Collaborate with the marketing team to generate leads and support sales campaigns.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.

Own the client, by maintaining a strong sense of urgency and overall accountability.

Coordinate projects, actively engaging with both the Iress and the clients delivery teams.
Team Collaboration

Work closely with other sales team members to share knowledge, experience and best practices.

Collaborate with product development and support teams to ensure client feedback is communicated and addressed.
What you will bring
Qualifications and Certifications
-
Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in software sales (Financial markets experience preferred)

Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.

Strong understanding of financial market data terminals, data feeds, and investor relations (beneficial)

Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
-
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.

Willingness to travel as needed.

A Dealmaker with excellent commercial acumen.

Enthusiastic, energetic and inquisitive with a strong desire to outperform.

Experience with major financial market solution providers.
