Job Description
RLDatix (RLD) is on a mission to help raise the standard of care…everywhere. Trusted by over 10,000 healthcare organisations around the world, our solutions help improve health and care. Our applications ensure that patients receive the best and safest care while supporting the providers who deliver it.
Joining TeamRLD means being part of a global effort of over 2,000 team members in making a difference in healthcare…every day.
We're searching for a UK based Account Manager to join our UK Sales team, so that we can protect, grow and deepen our relationships with existing customers across the NHS and independent health and social care sector. The Account Manager will own a portfolio of existing customers, renewing contracts, protecting and growing annual recurring revenue, and expanding our footprint through cross-sell and upsell, to have a direct impact on safer health and care in the UK.
How You'll Spend Your Time
- Own your number across renewals, cross-sell and upsell, consistently achieving or exceeding revenue retention and growth targets, forecasting accurately and adapting your plan quickly when circumstances change.
- Build and maintain rigorous account plans for your portfolio, with a clear view of renewal dates, risks, stakeholders and growth opportunities, and manage renewals proactively well ahead of contract end.
- Run a disciplined, well-qualified pipeline in Salesforce, using a recognised sales methodology such as MEDDPICC or Miller Heiman to shape and win opportunities.
- Build long-term, trusted relationships across your accounts, partnering with customer success managers to create incremental sales and developing whitespace into qualified opportunities.
- Lead with insight rather than product features, constructively challenging the status quo with senior clinical, operational, financial and procurement stakeholders to create urgency for change.
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships, positioning RLDatix as a strategic partner and leading regular account and value reviews aligned to customer priorities.
- Navigate NHS and independent sector procurement processes, including frameworks, direct awards and competitive tenders, leading renewal and expansion negotiations through to closure while protecting value.
- Develop persuasive proposals and business cases that demonstrate clear ROI, measurable outcomes and competitive differentiation.
- Collaborate with and influence product, marketing, customer success and commercial teams, feeding back customer insight to shape our future product strategy.
What Kind of Things We're Most Interested in You Having
- 3 to 5 or more years in enterprise SaaS account management, with a proven record of achieving or exceeding renewal, retention and growth targets across a portfolio of existing customers.
- Proven success in growing existing accounts through cross-sell and upsell by convincing customers to change and expand, and in turning at-risk accounts around through long, complex renewals or re-tenders.
- In-depth knowledge of how to use market insight to challenge a customer's thinking and change the direction, scope or urgency of a buying decision.
- Understanding of the UK health and care landscape (NHS and/or independent sector) and its procurement processes, including the regulatory and compliance drivers that influence purchasing decisions.
- Proven ability to build executive-level relationships and influence C-suite decision-makers, maintaining executive sponsorship within existing accounts.
- Strong understanding of enterprise SaaS, with the ability to translate complex product capabilities into clear business value, and familiarity with CRM and sales enablement tools such as Salesforce and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Exceptional relationship-building, communication and negotiation skills, with a strong ethical approach to selling, accurate forecasting and transparent commitments.
- Degree-level education or equivalent experience, with training in consultative or solution sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC or Miller Heiman preferred.
- A sincere interest in making a positive change in health and care, and the ability to commute to London and travel for customer meetings, industry events and conferences.
By enabling flexibility in how we work and prioritising employee wellness, we empower our team to do and be their best. Key benefits include private health and group accident insurance, an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for confidential support, and Loyalty Awards for long-service employees.
