We are looking for an ambitious and customer-focused Technical Sales Advisor Swine to strengthen our presence in Bulgaria and drive growth through direct collaboration with farmers and key industry stakeholders.

Your Challenge

As a Technical Sales Advisor Swine, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with swine producers across Bulgaria. This is a Business-to-Farmer (B2F) role, focused on working directly with farmers, integrators, veterinarians, and production decision-makers, rather than through distributors.

You will serve as a trusted advisor, helping customers improve performance through nutritional and farm management solutions while identifying new business opportunities and contributing to sustainable commercial growth.

Success in this role requires a deep understanding of the Bulgarian swine market, strong local industry relationships, and the ability to translate technical knowledge into tangible customer value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take the full sales and technical responsibility within you region
  • Make and roll out the Actionplan on how to grow the B2F business
  • Apply a consultative B2F approach to understand customer needs and recommend tailored solutions.
  • Actively contribute to business growth by expanding existing customer relationships and identifying new opportunities.
  • Provide technical and nutritional support to swine customers across Bulgaria.
  • Build trusted partnerships with farmers, integrators, veterinarians, and other key industry stakeholders.
  • Support the  swine team in developing and implementing compelling value propositions for the swine sector.
  • Analyze farm performance data and translate findings into practical recommendations.
  • Identify customer challenges and opportunities and develop effective solutions.
  • Stay informed about market developments, industry trends, and competitor activities.
  • Collaborate closely with technical, commercial, and marketing teams across the region.
  • Represent Trouw Nutrition at customer visits, industry events, and technical meetings.
  • Who You Are? You are passionate about animal nutrition, enjoy working directly with customers, and have a strong understanding of the Bulgarian livestock market. You combine technical credibility with commercial drive and enjoy turning customer challenges into business opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Veterinarian degree or Master's degree in Animal Science, Animal Nutrition, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in swine nutrition, technical advisory, or commercial roles within the livestock industry.
  • Strong knowledge of the Bulgarian swine industry and its key market players.
  • Existing network and relationships within the Bulgarian livestock sector are highly valued.
  • Demonstrated experience working directly with farmers and production decision-makers.
  • Strong commercial mindset and ability to convert technical expertise into business growth.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Fluent Bulgarian and English, both written and spoken, are mandatory.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within Bulgaria and occasionally internationally.
