Position SummaryAs an Account Executive on the Revenue team, you will manage the full sales cycle for mid-market and commercial prospects across the APAC region. You will run outbound prospecting campaigns, convert inbound leads into demos, and apply Okendo's Value Selling methodology to meet and exceed your sales targets. Working closely with the APAC Market Lead and broader Go-To-Market team, you'll build and close a pipeline of qualified deals — becoming a product expert and a trusted advisor to eCommerce brands throughout the region.

How you'll create impact:Achieve Sales Targets
- Own a quarterly ARR sales quota for new business across the APAC region
- Deliver consistent target attainment across months and quarters
- Manage and close both inbound opportunities and self-sourced deals
Practice Okendo Value Selling (OVS)
- Master and apply Okendo's Value Selling methodology to progress qualified prospects through the sales process and convert them into new customers
- Conduct thorough discovery to understand a merchant's pain points, strategic goals, and eCommerce stack
- Deliver tailored, goal-oriented product demonstrations that connect Okendo's capabilities to each prospect's specific objectives
Source and Build Pipeline
- Proactively generate new opportunities through outbound prospecting, event attendance, partner referrals, and industry networking
- Attend industry events and conferences across the APAC region; represent Okendo in a consultative, brand-appropriate manner
- Maintain the balance of prospecting and pipeline progression to minimize channel dependency
Negotiate and Close
- Lead contract and commercial negotiations with prospective customers, ensuring favorable terms while focusing on long-term partnerships
- Collaborate with sales leadership on complex or high-value deals
Support Actionable Sales Reporting
- Maintain impeccable CRM hygiene in HubSpot, ensuring all prospect data is accurately captured for effective forecasting
- Participate in regular pipeline reviews and contribute to accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing, customer success, and onboarding teams to ensure seamless handoffs and a best-in-class customer experience
- Share market feedback and competitive insights with product and marketing stakeholders
Stay Current on the Market
- Continuously develop knowledge of the eCommerce and Shopify ecosystem, key competitor positioning, and industry trends
- Use competitive intelligence to effectively position Okendo in every conversation
- 3+ years of experience in a closing Account Executive role in SaaS or technology sales
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota in a full-cycle sales role
- Structured and diligent in managing opportunities end-to-end through the deal cycle
- Strong communication and listening skills; able to build rapport with decision-makers and champions alike
- Skilled at understanding a merchant's pain points and translating them into a compelling, tailored Okendo solution
- Comfortable attending industry events, conferences, and strategic activations; willing to travel within the APAC region as needed
- Solid understanding of CRM best practices; data integrity and accurate forecasting are non-negotiable
- Preferred: Familiarity with HubSpot
- Preferred: Experience in the Shopify ecosystem (Shopify, Klaviyo, Gorgias, or similar eCommerce tools)
- You have educated yourself on the eCommerce industry and familiarized yourself with the brands and platforms Okendo partners with
- You are certified as an Okendo Product Expert — the foundational knowledge essential to your success in sales
- You have completed the onboarding program, shadowed sales calls, and can articulate Okendo's core value proposition independently
- You have integrated into the Australian and broader APAC team and begun collaborating with global colleagues
- You understand the sales unit's current projects and campaigns and are beginning to support active pipeline
- You have been independently managing your full sales cycle for 3+ months and are tracking toward quota attainment
- You are consistently generating new pipeline through both inbound and outbound activities
- You require less support from management on deal decisions and trust your own judgment in negotiations
- You have a clear picture of the APAC competitive landscape and are using it to sharpen your positioning in the field
- You are consistently meeting or exceeding your quarterly quota and are recognized as a reliable contributor to APAC revenue
- You are vocal in leading and contributing to sales enablement materials and process improvements
- You act as a subject matter expert for customers, peers, and cross-functional teams at Okendo
- You own tactical and strategic projects in the APAC region in close collaboration with the Market Lead and VP of Sales
- Based on performance, you are on a clear path toward Senior Account Executive, with potential to take ownership of our most valuable enterprise opportunities in the region
