Your Opportunity: Acrylic Design Associates, a division of Taylor Corporation, is seeking an experienced Account Executive to join our team! This position’s sole charter is relentless growth through whatever means necessary – organic/new account acquisition and expansion with existing accounts you close, onboard and continue to support. Working both as an individual and at times with other team members. 

The ideal candidate will manage and grow a territory selling in a business-to-business environment spanning several key industries. They sell products, services, and solutions that every business can use. The company provides extensive training and the strength and support that only a strong national company can provide. Our Account Executives are dynamic market leaders from coast to coast.


Your Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for attainment and growth of profitable revenue – with a focus on incremental new sales
  • Oversee the delivery of existing business and navigate success through our client service and manufacturing teams.
  • Develop a market plan to create new opportunities and build the opportunity pipeline
  • Develop a client strategy collaboratively with Account Managers
  • Effective utilization of all resources, including but not limited to business development/marketing/general managers to build and deploy client strategies
  • Close capable in both expansion/acquisition deals
  • Responsible for understanding our broad product line with a focus on fixtures, displays, signage and LED lighting
  • Effective utilization and updates of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools i.e. HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.
  • Be a team collaborator/contributor and align with the Taylor Performance Framework
  • Remain persistent in expanding relationships and building a pipeline of new opportunities
  • Effectively navigate inside of Taylor’s business unit structure
  • Being available and responsive to requests both internal and external

You Must Have:  

  • A hunter mentality - experience in consultative selling and hunting for new sales opportunities
  • Ability to be a self-starter and able to operate within an organization independently
  • Relentless attitudes towards growth – strong desire to champion double digit growth
  • Effectiveness in building strategic relationships internally/externally
  • Entrepreneur attitude with relentless pursuit of new business
  • Effective client/market planning and consultative selling skills
  • Ability to create interest and open doors through multiple business development strategies
  • Ability to develop strategic relationships with clients and partners
  • Ability to understand client challenges/objectives and align capabilities to deliver a high value proposition
  • Ability to deliver effective presentations and demos at the executive level to gain customer engagement
  • A knack for performing negotiations and closing business
  • Effective understanding of the sales process
  • General knowledge and use of a CRM
  • Knowledge of business in various vertical markets and your geographical location

We Would Prefer:

  • Experience selling retail displays, signage and other branded/print elements
